Just for fun, I entered Oreo in the Veterans class at the Arizona regional specialty. I was a bit worried that he would look ancient next to the younger dogs, but it turns out he was the only Veteran who showed up! Regardless of the lack of competition, he got a lot wonderful compliments and many people were amazed that he was 12 years old. It was great to meet all the wonderful IG people who came, and I'm looking forward to attending another specialty soon.

Oreo came out of retirement to head back into the ring with Michaela, my friend's daughter. Despite only being able to practice together a few times, and the fact that she'd never even been to a dog show before, Michaela won Best Junior in Show! WAY TO GO MICHAELA!!! I am sooo proud of you!

Michaela and Oreo's show season started with a bang! Michaela again did a wonderful job, this time winning back-to-back Best Junior In Shows! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
