Oreo was my first show dog (shown above at 6mos).  Due to my health problems and lack of competition in my area, we were never able to complete his championship (though he still managed to attract quite a fan club!).  Oreo's my little alpha, the protector of my hearth and home.  He takes his job very seriously, and won't let anything happen to anyone he deems part of the pack!  However, with those he loves (which, let's be honest, is anyone I invite in!) he's a total snuggle-bug...he's one of those dogs who will flop bonelessly on his back in your lap, eyes gazing up at you, all soft and trusting...  Now he's older, greyer, and has a few less teeth than when he was younger, but he's still beautiful in my eyes...

This little girl was very shy of the dogs, but really wanted to "see them." She did finally get the nerve up to touch Oreo and was sad when the dogs left. (This picture was taken by her mother.)

Oreo is now retired from his duties as a Therapy Dog.
